IAMTech buys MFC children's shirt front and donates to Zoe's Place

Middlesbrough Football Club ( www.mfc.co.uk ) is delighted to welcome Teesside-based IAMTech as it's official Family Partner.

A key element to the new partnership with IAMTech will see the name of the club’s new charity partner, Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice, on the front of all our Academy kits – from U9s to U23s – and on all junior-sized replica shirts.

Boro’s Head of Commerical, Lee Fryett, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with IAMTech, they have made an incredible gesture by donating the front of shirt asset to Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice.

“The hospice will also have branding around the stadium, and together with IAMTech, we’re hoping we can raise awareness both locally and nationally about this wonderful charity.”

The club’s award-winning Generation Red Family Zone will also be working closely with IAMTech and Zoe’s Place to welcome the hospice patients and patients’ families into the ground to watch games.

MD of IAMTech, Ross Coulman, said: “We hope that our donation of a club shirt front to a charity, helps to convince other commercial organisations to follow our example, bringing charities vital exposure, versus keeping company profits to themselves”.

“I hope that what we have done, with MFC’s support, can be of great benefit to Zoe’s Place, a charity that deserves all the help we can give it for the life changing work it does for our community.”

General Manager of Zoe’s Place Middlesbrough, Mark Guidery, said: “We are all absolutely delighted to be chosen by IAMTech to benefit in this unique way.

“To be associated with these two proud and important organisations is something that up till now we could only dream about. Zoe’s Place has been part of Tees-side's community for over seventeen years and our nurses have cared for hundreds of children and babies with life shortening conditions.

“This partnership will help to raise awareness and continue the crucial work of the hospice.”
