The Brief

With a focus on environmental stewardship, safety compliance, and digital transformation, Dominion Energy needed a centralised platform to manage complex permit processes across both the 12-megawatt pilot and the ongoing 2.6-gigawatt commercial offshore wind installations.

Dominion aimed to eliminate manual workflows, improve environmental performance, and maintain the highest health and safety management standards across operations.

Existing paper-based systems posed limitations in visibility, standardisation, and efficiency—especially when managing remote, large-scale construction activity under tight regulatory control.

The Solution

The implementation was delivered remotely and completed successfully thanks to strong engagement from Dominion’s team. During peak operational periods in August, the platform managed over 250 permits without disruption, demonstrating its reliability and scalability in a high-stakes environment.
